Our Service Call-Out Fees
We are always sympathetic to our clients needs and are usually happy to travel out to your premises. Our charges for this are as follows:
The service call out fee is $154.00, which includes the first 30 minutes of labour. If it is required that the repair time be extended, the charges thereafter are an additional $25.00 per fifteen minute block.
Once it has been agreed by the clients and Swan Appliances to attend to the appliance repair, and we travel out to the clients premises, the call-out charge has then been incurred. Broken appointments will incur the call-out charge, unless under exceptional circumstances, or unless, we have been sufficiently notified of the cancellation - at least 24 hours before the booking.
The service call out fee will only be charged for the first completed call-out. Any return visits required by us, will only incur our standard labour charge, as well as any spare parts required to complete the repair to the customers' satisfaction.
In some cases we may be required to import spare parts from over East. In these cases, please allow a 7-10 working day period for parts to arrive from the date of order.
We will always endeavour to carry as much spare parts as possible, however, it is reasonably to expect that we may not always have the required spare parts available with us.
Payment is required before the Technician leaves the premises. Payment is to be made either in cash or by EFT.
